New Beginners Golf Tips by Noel

As a golf beginner you, more than likely are playing off a high handicap, and that's only right and proper. No doubt you want to decrease your handicap as quickly as you can. That is a normal attitude to have.

To attain this goal it is imperative that, beginners golf tips are vital in learning techniques and strategies from golfing experts right from the start. How is this done.

The simple answer is, There are thousands of eBooks, Videos, and professional coaches out there to teach these fundamentals. Your dilemma is, which one is suitable for you. How do you choose one that will cover all the criteria necessary to attain your goal of lowering your handicap.

Well the first thing for you to learn is, there are no quick fixes in golf. No magic formula that puts you right up there in the top bracket. Golf is a HEARTBREAKING GAME, now once you are clear on that lets get down to some fundamentals.

As a golf beginner looking for tips to help your game, I will share these few nuggets of information which I know will start you off on the right path.

I will begin with the golf swing. If you watch and study the professional golfers, you will notice each and every one of them have a technique which is unique to them, but being professionals they are always searching for that elusive swing which can gain them the tiniest edge over their opponents.

This is because winning is the most important thing for them. Most of the top players are not playing for the money, they are playing for the glory and prestige which every professional should strive to attain no matter what their sport or business is.

For a golf beginner the easiest thing to do is pick up bad habits. Unfortunately these habits are mostly in the swing technique, the reason for this is simple. You are learning from someone who is not really qualified or interested, and you leave these people and try some other coach who in turn changes everything you had learned before from the first guy. Your next step is frustration because you are not moving forward with your game as quickly as you expected. Then after spending a small fortune you may be only slightly better than when you started, but with a load of bad habits.

My advice would be to buy yourself a good eBook and study it carefully putting into practice what it says. There is a huge benefit to you if you take this course of action. It means the E book is always available to you whenever you need to go back to find out a particular answer to a technique, which you are not too sure about. It is not costing you a fortune on coaching lessons and like I said it is at your fingertips whenever you need it.

Another very important tip to a golf beginners armory is strategy. All sportsmen and women will have a strategy for every contest in which they participate, golf is no different.

You must plan a course of action before you stand up on the first tee box. This involves knowing what you are up against, for example. What are the conditions like. Is it wet, will the ball plug or slow up on the wet ground. Is the ground hard from lack of rain, how far will your fairway shots travel, will you overshoot the green and land in a bunker, or into the rough. Is it very windy.

It is vital to remember, even though you are playing with other golfers, they are not your priority. Now I know it is nice to come in having possibly won against them, but your biggest opponent is the course. You must master the course first, then the rest will follow.
